2010

We were approached a while back by the organisers of the Secret Garden Party to see if we could supply them with some iLLoom Balloons.“What on earth is the Secret Garden Party?” I hear you ask. Well, it’s a question we asked ourselves too but I can tell you that it is an independent arts and music festival which takes place every year in an estate near Huntingdon. It is also officially the Best Small Festival in the UK – an award it has won on no less than two occasions. We weren’t quite sure what they wanted with iLLoom Balloons but we gladly helped them out. It was in fact, the first major event of this kind that we had been involved in, in an official capacity. We had quite a shock when the pictures came in from the festival and we saw plumes of iLLoom Balloons flooding out of the top of a 40ft long spaceship. Take a look at the pics – I’m sure you will agree it looks quite a sight. Hopefully this will be the first of many forays into the world of entertainment.

iLLoom chief James Halliburton said: “It was fantastic to be able to help provide such a spectacle for the finale of the festival’’.“The balloons looked great coming out of the spaceship.”
